'Great Stay' "Stayed at the Bank House from 6th to the 10th as a part of Laver Holidays Group. I have to say that I have been looked after well. Everyone we met was helpful, pleasant and friendly. Even though cheese & biscuits were not on the menu the manger allowed me to have it for all 4 days which I think is great. The only bad comment I have is the stained carpet in my bedroom but I had a really good time. Will recommend for sure." 16 Apr 2010
'Value for money' "Stayed in room 62. For what we paid it was value for money. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The evening meal was excellent, as were the waiting staff. Bedroom decor needed a serious update. The stay was comfortable." 8 Apr 2010
'Very Pleasant Stay' "I came for a weekend break and had a lovely time. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable and the food was excellent. The hotel is ideal for a short break and we found plenty to see and do in the area. There seems to be a rolling refurbishment programme in place, and some of the windows were being replaced but this did not disturb our stay. I will definitely be returning." 7 Apr 2010
'Great value for money' "Stayed here on a Saturday night. We had a lovely room, decor not too bad at all. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the evening meal on Saturday night. Although the restaurant was busy the head waiter was very attentive. We chose from the Fixed Price menu and the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The free bottle of wine that we had with our package was also of a good quality. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning, buffet style as much as you wanted with good quality bacon and sausages. Apart from somebody setting off the fire alarm (from smoking in their room) at 7.45am which woke us up with a very loud siren directly above my head in the room, we had a very nice stay. The receptionist was very efficient as were all the staff we encountered, i would definitely recommend this hotel for the money." 19 Jul 2009
