“Staff were amazing, Food was 5* and service was excellent”
From our arrival we were met with polite and friendly receptionists...thank you so much for everything you did for us during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff no matter what time of day or night it was. The room was modern, light and very tastefully decorated, very clean and functional just what you would expect from a 4* hotel. We had a three course meal in their restaurant and it was amazing a must even if you are not staying at the hotel. Freshly prepared food to a very high standard perfectly cooked and wine service tailored to the meal of your choice. I can’t say enough about this hotel. If you are ever in the area you must stay here! We will certainly be going again.

Together with our extended family we celebrated our golden wedding anniversary at this location. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and courteous and went out of their way to make us feel at home and to make our weekend one to remember. The rooms and the restaurant were of the highest quality and the facilities available in the country club were an added bonus. We would recommend the Redwood Hotel and Country Club to anyone thinking of holding a family gathering.

We had a very nice stay. The original room allocated did not have a view as expected. This was quickly resolved without any question. Food was very good and extensive leisure facilities in the form of a Gym and 2 swimming pools.

The hotel was warm and comfortable. Even though there was a wedding at the hotel which went on all evening we were not disturbed and had a peaceful night's sleep.

My family and I stayed at the hotel on the down to Cornwall; this was the 3rd time we have stayed. Apart from a great location, the welcome was warm and accommodating and with assistance given with the copious amounts of bags we had (not just offered!). The room was very clean and well equipped with sofa bed for our eldest and a cot provided for our youngest. We used the leisure facilities, which, because it was an hour before the second England game, were nice and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Large range of continental and an excellent selection of cooked.
All in all we couldn’t really fault the hotel and I will be happily recommending to my friends and family when they are heading down the M5.

Meal in restaurant was very good - we did not consider it overly expensive. Staff all very friendly and happy to help. Bar in hotel reception quite small - try the bar in the leisure facility adjoining the hotel! We stayed here to attend a wedding - the reception was held at the hotel. Hearty congratulations to the staff - beautifully done! Used the leisure facilities (free of charge to residents) - very impressed once again. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again.

As we travelled with our two small children we did not want to eat here every night and planned to go out in to Bristol city centre. We were pleasantly informed at check in there was a sports bar and Brassiere in the Country club which is part of the hotel. It was a relaxed area with a bar and a large screen and had a really good kids menu.
There was a lot to do too. They have a large gym; I have not seen one this big in a hotel before and squash courts too. Unfortunately the kids could not use the outside play area because of the weather but did manage to book a place in the kids club so we could have a quiet drink in the bar. The staff were great and we will definitely be back next year.

This hotel is like a mini holiday resort on the outskirts of Bristol. It has a leisure club with sports facilities, an indoor swimming pool as well as outdoor pools in the grounds. The location is brilliant as it is close to the city (just a short drive across the Clifton suspension bridge) and we also found some great walks direct from the hotel in the Ashton Court Park. We also visited Tyntesfield, a National Trust property which is close by. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the staff welcoming. We would certainly stay here again.
